THE FOOLS...

Once upon a time there was a single truth, and that truth was A and Zed at the same time. The beings were feeling bored only with Α (which was Zed at the same time). Their lives had no meaning. Therefore they had the idea to hide Α in a place where it would always be accessible, and then pretend ignorance over it. 

Thus, they started inventing new truths in order to explain everything. They made up B and C and D... As time went by, they forgot all about A. The new truths could explain certain things, but not all of them. And they didn't last long. Soon Ε had been surpassed by F etc. And the beings were getting farther and farther from A, through a bizarre but exciting course. Their lives had a meaning now, but having forgotten the truth, they did not understand what the meaning was and were looking for that, too. 

Many ages went by, and following their strange course the beings reached finally Zed, which was Α at the same time. They were happy beyond words to have discovered the ultimate truth, for the intermediate truths were never fully satisfactory. Such truths were of course appealing, but always blurry. A was crystal clear. And could not be surpassed by any other truth. 

But now A was so much richer than before. It contained all other letters up to Zed, but not as knowledge - only as experience. And with this experience at hand, the beings sett off for a new, glorious journey.
